The Arlyn UpScale Touchscreen Indicator is a new state-of-the-art digital indicator available exclusively from Arlyn Scales. It is equipped with a 7 inch HD IPS Capacitive 5-point widescreen touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024x600 (
WSVGA) pixels. The Arlyn UpScale is driven by a powerful Quad Core processor and comes with a spacious 8GB of storage. It is also equipped with 1GB of DDR3 RAM giving it more than enough power to multitask across simultaneous processes.
Color Touchscreen Display
No more pushing buttons to get things done. No need to worry about pressing the wrong button. All buttons on the screen are contextually aware. Also, they just need to be touched to get the job done.
Visually Driven Interface
We designed the Graphical User Interface (GUI) with User Friendliness in mind. Descriptions of tasks and buttons are so clear that there is no need to read the manual to perform simple tasks.
Enhanced Options
Some options available on the standard MKE-5 Indicator have been improved on the Arlyn UpScale to give our customers extensive flexibility in meeting their requirements.
Enhanced Datalogger Functions
In addition to performing basic Datalogging functions (such as recording weight and timestamp at certain intervals on a USB Flash Drive), the Arlyn UpScale Display Indicator also allows you to configure the data log file to be emailed to you. This could be done on demand at a click of a button, or automatically at a particular date and time. Datalog email functionality is only available when the Datalogging option is purchased together with Ethernet and/or Wifi. Please see the Arlyn UpScale manual for further details.
Enhanced Setpoint Functions
Not only does the Arlyn UpScale Display Indicator provide general Setpoint functionality (actuating outputs based on target weights), it also allows you to email weight print frames when a target weight is reached. For example, if you want to be notified when a cylinder of Helium gas you were weighing on the scale reaches 30lbs, then you can configure the Setpoint function on the scale to email you when the scale reading reaches 30lbs. You can also configure the Setpoint function to output weight print frames when it reaches a target weight. This can be done through RS232, USB, Ethernet, Wifi, etc. This function is only available with the Setpoint option in conjunction with any of the digital output options. Live Data Logging with Google Spreadsheets
In addition to logging data locally (i.e. internal database and exported to USB stick), the Arlyn UpScale also features the ability to log data directly online, into a Google Spreadsheet. The logging of data can be observed almost in real time (allowing for a 2 second delay due to the time it takes for the data to be posted to the internet). Using a live Google Spreadsheet for Data Logging is especially useful for customers who want to view their scale data logging live anywhere at any time. It’s a simple replacement of complex and rigid web logging method that is still being used by other scale vendors. 3rd-Party Integration
If you would like to expand the functionality of your existing "non-Arlyn" branded scales with built-in displays, you can utilize the
Arlyn UpScale's 3rd-Party Integration System to take advantage of the various features the Arlyn UpScale has to offer. This allows you to connect the touchscreen display to any 3rd-Party scale*. The UpScale will then communicate with the 3rd-party scale and show weight data on it's screen as if the weight is coming from a dedicated platform. Not only that, but it will also route the weight data to many of its advanced functions (such as Data Logging with Google Spreadsheets, MODBUS, Setpoint Email Alerts, etc) and allow you to utilize these features seamlessly.

Load Cell Connectivity
Compatible with 4-wire Load Cell connection (Excitation +, Excitation -, Signal +, Signal -). Comes with 5-pin DIN connectors or HDMI connection for ease of use. Wiring information available on request. Customized connectors also supported at additional cost.
Easy to See
Stainless steel swivel bracket allows the display to be seen from any angle. The bracket may be mounted in a convenient spot on a post, or desk or wall.

High Accuracy
Fully Customizable Accuracy Control for Noisy Environments is available standard on this indicator through User Defined Software Filter, Stability Control, Zero/Motion Detect and Zero Tracking.
Import/Export of Data Tables
The Arlyn UpScale supports the ability to import/export data tables such as tares, samples setpoints between multiple scales as well as other systems. This feature is called
Data Migration with Arlyn UpScale and is included with the purchase of the Data Logger option.
User Management & Time Tracking
The Arlyn UpScale Indicator offers the ability to control access to your scale and record usage of the scale as well as allow basic operator time management (in conjunction with other options such as USB, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, USB Datalogging, etc.) For example, when printing out data from the scale, you can determine who was logged in to the scale when work was performed. This can be determined by the username and timestamp printed out on each weight line. Custom Fields Support
