Chlorine Ton Scales For Cylinders and Tanks
Gas Cylinder Scales
Arlyn Scales offers you a tool to let you monitor and weigh the contents of gas cylinders when you need to measure your amount of liquefied gas or other materials stored in containers like these. These scales are ideal for weighing materials stored in cylinders, pails and tanks of all kinds due to the intelligent design by Arlyn Scales.
These cylinder scales by Arlyn Scales are perfect for use in the semiconductor industry. Weight is a better measurement than tank pressure for liquified gas contents because the tank will stay at maximum pressure until the last bit of liquified gas boils into gas. Arlyn’s Cylinder Scales are intended for this purpose with industry standard capacities of 60 lbs to 300 lbs. These scales are manufactured using a special stainless steel load cell which gives this scale a platform size of 9.25” x 9.25”.
These scales also feature a very low profile of 1 ⅜”, which is really important when you are trying to prevent injury to your employees or damage to your equipment that can come from loading heavy cylinders on and off your platform.
All stainless steel construction is optionally available for Arlyn Scales’ Cylinder Scales including the pan, frame, load cells and legs. This is a robust, durable material that handles many damaging and corrosive environments very well. However, if you are in an industry that works with volatile materials and processes, you may want to get in touch with us about our explosion proof upgrade options for cylinder scales.
These cylinder scales can adapt to a wide range of environments that necessitate a number of connectivity options including 4-20mA, 0-5V, 1-5V or with a full-featured indicator that can be customized with a selection of computer output formats, including RS-232, Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB. Arlyn Scales is prepared to supply an incredibly diverse range of settings from industrial factories, airport tarmacs, shipping stations and farms with scales that deliver accurate, high-precision measurements regardless if your environment includes splattering mud, the hot sun, cold rain, icy snow or harsh and corrosive chemicals. Cylinder Scales Measure Liquid Levels in Cylinders
Liquid gases are used across a broad range of industries. Liquid nitrogen is used in cryogenics. Argon is used in welding. The semiconductor industry uses many different liquid gases in the production of silicon wafers. These include silicon tetrafluoride, silicon tetrachloride, silane, disilane, and dichlorosilane, to name just a few. Weighing Liquified Gases In Cylinder … Continued
Gas Cylinder Scales and the Pressure Transducer
The semiconductor industry is often thought of as being at the leading edge of technology. That is certainly the case in many of the operations necessary for producing today’s microprocessor and memory devices. But in fact, most of the processes required for fabricating integrated circuits are much more standard levels of complexity. For example, a … Continued
Electronic Scales for Cryogenic Gases
Electronic scales for cryogenic gases blend the best abilities of a gas scale with the technology and electronics of modern engineering. Electronic scales for cryogenic gases are similar to scales for liquefied gases. Both scales weigh the mass of the gases contained in cylinder structures. The purpose of electronic scales for cryogenic gases is to … Continued
Electronic Cylinder Scales
Electronic cylinder scales provide a useful method to measure the weight of liquefied gasses. These are gasses that under pressure become a liquid and are pumped into a cylinder. For the purposes of liquefied gases, the user wants to ensure reliable and accurate measurement. Accuracy helps maintain high levels of product purity and consistency. What … Continued
Cylinder Scales for Liquid
Cylinder scales are designed to weigh metal drums, tanks and pails that contain liquids and other materials of various types. ArlynScales carries high quality cylinder scales with stainless steel platforms that are durable and can do much more than simply weigh the containers for you. Cylinder scales are designed to weigh metal drums, tanks and … Continued

Gas Cylinder Scales and the Flow Rate in Industrial Weighing Scales
The Importance of Flow Rate and Gas Cylinder Scales Options Weight measurement is one of the most common industrial processes and is performed by a wide variety of industrial scales. Another common industrial measurement is flow rate. Flow rate is important because it is used for fluids and liquified gasses. Many chemical processes need to … Continued
Semiconductor Industry uses Cylinder Scales
The semiconductor industry uses a wide range of specialty gases during the processing of silicon wafers. Standard atmospheric gases include helium and nitrogen, along with argon, oxygen and hydrogen. Other gases may include dichlorosilane, disilane, silane, silicon tetrachloride and silicon tetrafluoride. There are additional gases used during the doping and etching states including boron trifluoride, … Continued
Liquefied Gas Scales
The best scale to measure liquefied gases is a digital cylinder scale. A digital cylinder scale determines the weight of the liquid in cylinders, not the volume of gas in the cylinders. Liquefied gases require special scales, because of the weight and size of the containers. The scales operate when a gas cylinder is placed … Continued

Cylinder Scales: More Rugged and More Accurate
Liquefied gases play a crucial role in various industrial processes. Cryogenic applications often require liquefied nitrogen and other gases. Liquefied carbon dioxide finds application in the production of chemicals, manufacturing fertilizers, plastics, rubber, fire extinguisher systems, carbonating soft drinks, and numerous other uses. In the semiconductor industry, different liquefied gases are utilized for wafer … Continued
Cylinder Scales and Measuring the Contents of Gas in SemiConductor Fabrication – High Capacity
A number of specialty gasses play a prominent role in semiconductor fabrication. These gasses may be used to clean the silicon substrates, and to etch and process the silicon wafers. It is critical during the fabrication process that each of the gasses be available when needed. An entire batch of wafers, which can represent thousands … Continued
