Crane Scales
Crane scales(also known as hanging scales) are great for large loads up to one ton and beyond. This is especially useful in the steel industry, but these scales are a benefit for many other industries such as the textile or agricultural industry. Our crane scales are highly accurate at 0.1% accuracy of full capacity. The scale display is large and easily readable allowing a worker to capture the weight reading from a safe distance. We also offer a pushbutton tare to minimize effort and time taring the scale system.
We also sell optional swivel handles and attachments as crane scale add-ons. We have found that these can help control the load more easily and help position the load in a specific place after loading, if necessary.
Drum Scales
The name for this scale is appropriate. We made this scale to help measure liquids, which are generally contained in industrial drums. This type of liquid storage spans a wide variety of uses such as cooking oil to more corrosive chemicals like acids and detergents. We designed this scale to be highly accurate, durable and corrosion resistant.
We have created a variety of platform sizes for this scale from 20 x 27 to 48 x 48 for large loads. The platform has a low profile of less than 2 inches high. This makes it easier to load and unload the drums. The scale is also designed to be rail-less to allow the drums to overhang on all four sides.
Our scale is also able to detect and deduct the weight of the drum from the weight of the liquid automatically. Using the scale indicator a user can display the net and gross weights.
This scale also comes with industry standard scale communication and connectivity options such as Ethernet, Wi-Fi, and USB.
Floor Scales
We constructed our 5200 Series floor scales for use in difficult environments such as the agricultural, chemical and waste management industries. With a low profile, this scale is easier to load and unload regardless of the dimensions of the load. We also designed the scale with a swivel mounted scale indicator for ease of use.
Our goal with this scale was for it to be extremely durable and rugged. The scale is built using a steel platform that we coat with a zinc rich epoxy to resist rust. We can optionally also manufacture the scale completely out of stainless steel and if the situation calls for it, we can create a corrosion resistant model for you as well.
This scale also offers a variety of connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet and USB.
Platform Scales
Our platform scales are similar to our floor scales in providing a platform that is easy to load and unload. The platform scales are particular useful in the livestock and veterinary fields. This scale offers extreme accuracy for whatever you may need to weigh. These scales have weight resolution up to 0.1 lb. It also has an exceptionally rugged design and is built to withstand heavy loads. Like the floor scale is can also come in a full stainless steel construction for especially corrosive environments.
As is the case with most of our scales, we offer connectivity options to allow scale owners to quickly access and analyze weight data.
Bench Scales
Bench scales are perfect for countertop work. You will find them at use in the food, packaging, and jewelry industries thank to their precision and compactness. We offer highly accurate bench scales beyond their normal capacities and extend that range up to 150 lb. We offer standard load cells or our internationally patented SAW load cells which are extremely durable and help create highly accurate readings.
Rugged Scale Protection
We construct our load cells and our scale platforms to avoid shock loading (dropping a load from a height onto the scale) and over loading (placing a load beyond a scales capacity on the platform). These two conditions can cause drifts in the accuracy of the scale by damaging the load cells in the scale platform. Once the scale is damaged, you must take it out of service and have it repaired or replaced, costing you time and money. Unlike our competitors who manufacture their load cells out of aluminum, we make sure our load cells are made of stainless steel and placed in a protective housing when mounted to the inside of the scale platform. This enables your scale to have a longer life and more accuracy.
